Ladies and gentlemen over 65 who are looking for company once a week are welcome at the Wickhambrook Day Centre, which meets every Thursday around 10.00am at the MSC Hall.
Telephone Gladys Alexander on 01440 820698 for full details and/or if you would like someone to pick you up in a car.
The morning starts with coffee and biscuits, followed by bingo and a raffle and a chance for general chit chat.
There is then a two-course lunch, followed by a cup of tea before going home.
The cost? Just £2.50 for the day. Members from surrounding villages are also welcome.

Our members are very friendly and we would welcome anyone who would like to join us. We have a varied group of people who come to the daycentre mainly to socialise and to chat with each other. The centre is very relaxed and informal and offers an opportunity to meet other Ladies and Gentlemen - please come and join us.
The local Vicar comes to the Centre on one Thursday every month and we have a small religious service where you can join in if you wish.
The raffle has varied prizes which are usually brought in by the members and can range from a tin of fruit to interesting books.
A car can be arranged for you.
We have two outings a year. These are normally in June and September. The two trips are free to members and are paid for out of funds raised over the year by the Daycentre. We do, however need more members to be able to keep these trips running because of the cost of transport. If you are thinking of joining come along and see us, we think you'll be surprised at how much you enjoy yourself!
We have a wonderful range of meals provided for our lunch which is all homemade and you can see a small sample of the types of menus we have on offer below:
