"Nothing to wear", then you should have been with the Ladies of Wickhambrook Institute as our speaker for the evening Judy Butler gave us ideas and strategies to make best use of colour, styles and accessories from our wardrobes. It was an entertaining talk as some clever and useful tips were digested by members. It was lovely to have Roz Melvin our W.I. Advisor present and she brought us news of the recent West Suffolk stay at Denman College and forthcoming events for the Federation's 85th Anniversary year.
The Jumble Sale was very busy and there were lots of bargains to be had. The funds raised will be used to repair and maintain the W.I. Hall. Thank you for all your contributions and support on the day.
Many thanks also to all those who supported the 'Quiz Evening' in April, it was good fun and not too taxing The eventual winners were 'The Crofters, Vicki Mayes and her teammates with Mum's gone to Thailand' The Fieldsend Family in second and 'Brummie Bashers' consisting of John and Jo Stokes and Alan and Dorothy Lightley were third.
