On lovely warm bright evening members gathered to go in car convoy to Lackford Lakes for their June Meeting. There was time to wander around looking across the Lakes at the wildlife, while using the many available hides using binoculars to see things up even closer. We were rewarded with sightings of Cootes, Moorhens and Eider’s all with ducklings, Cormorants, Herons and Mount jack Deer. We had refreshments provided at the Education centre, where we held a short business meeting before leaving in the twilight. An excellent visit enjoyed by all.
