We were delighted to welcome Michael Brown and Marion, Pat and Chris to demonstrate Tai Chi Chuan Wu Style. After a short history of the origins of Tai Chi Chaun and the proven health benefits of this natural and holistic style, members were mesmorised by the movements of hands, arms, feet and body in harmony in surprisingly fast motion at times.
There are 5 forms of the art each with 5 sections and a variety of linking techniques and movement. The ladies were keen to try and soon they were up joining in and doing very well as the majority were first timers to the oriental art. The calming effect on those doing and watching was clear to see and some may wish to pursue this further in weeks to come.
