Wickhambrook Farmers Market

Wickhambrook Farmers Market

There is an increasing range of speciality foods and we serve tea and coffee in the adjoining Centre Cafe to everyone (stallholders and the public) all morning - and for a surprisingly small charge we sell fresh home‐made cakes and scones, and deliciously succulent hot bacon sandwiches and rolls. Call in, especially if you've been to the shop for your Sunday newspaper, and enjoy a free cuppa, a browse round the market goodies and a hot naughty bacon 'breakfast'.

News and Information

The cafe offers tea and coffee and hot bacon or sausage sandwiches, egg, bacon, sausage 'n mushroom in a short baguette...

The markets are held in the Memorial Social Centre  on the second Sunday each month (10am to 1pm)

MSC Location : CB8 8XR

Regular Stallholders include

Sunday 9th October.

At the October market (10am to 1pm in the MSC), and again at the Sunday 13th November market, stallholders will be pleased to advise on 'specials' for Christmas and in both October and November will be taking orders for customers' particular Christmas deals.

Speak to Helen on the veg stall regarding 'Casserole Boxes', stalks-of-Brussels, Christmas- wreaths-to-order;

or to Derek ('Silver Fins fish') for special salmon cuts for the post-Christmas table;

or to Kevin ('Brookfields Traditional Pork')

or Justin ('Culford Flock') for particular cuts of oven-ready prime fresh, chilled or frozen beef, lamb or pork;

or to John ('Totham Bangers') for speciality sausages not available in the usual high street shop;

or to Judith & Rachel for Christmas-decorated gift-wrapped candles;

or to Jennie ('Usborne Books') for great present ideas;

or Rachel (Artist) for 'local Suffolk scenes' in watercolours;

or Dave (Horticulture) for winter garden and Christmas-table-ready plants;

or take a look at Claire's beautiful cushions

and Pat's Cottage Crafts (here be Christmas present ideas galore!),

or to Teresa's really special jams, marmalades and chutneys to add seasonal tastes to the Christmas table;

or Antonio returning to Wickhambrook with his extensive range of Speciality and Continental cheeses

all the above can be purchased in October & November, or made up to order in time for collection at the December market on Sunday 11th December.

Full details, hopefully with pictures, in the November Scene in time for the November market… NB. Free tea/coffee for the really early customers – ie. before 10am! After 10am they're still only 50p and then with delicious eat-in hot snacks on sale!
