Wickhambrook has a large range of services and facilities within the village from our Firestation to Gentleman's hairdresser.
Wickhambrook Fire Station is crewed by 'Retained Firefighters”. Our retained firefighters are members of the local community, who have been trained as firefighters, but have full time jobs and work within a short distance of the fire station.
We have excellent facilities and activities available for the children in Wickhambrook.
The provision of bottle banks and a paper bank are available

Village Litter Pick
Sunday 26th February
Meet at the MSC Pavilion at 10.30 am. Finish late morning with tea/coffee and biscuits. The Borough will provide refuse sacks, litter grabs, gloves, hazard jackets and collect all the rubbish. The more volunteers we have the larger the area that can be covered.
7 for 7.30pm in the WI Hall. Our famous annual Quiz. £7 per person in teams of four (includes Ploughman's Supper). Please book with Val Orange, 820161 or Dorothy Anderson, 820376. A deposit of £10 will be required on booking.
2.30pm onwards at the W.I. Hall. Bric-a-brac, books and toys,cakes, raffle, teas. Hall open on Saturday at 10pm for donations. Everyone welcome.

J & D Caterers provide freshly cooked Fish & Chips together with a variety of snacks, chicken nuggets, burgers, etc, every Tuesday night. The van parks in the MSC car park.

The opening in Wickhambrook was attended by County Councillor Graham Newman, portfolio holder for Adult and Community Services and our Local County Councillor Jane Midwood. Free entertainment was provided by Andy Jennings, The Storyteller.
The mobile shop sells bread, cakes, confectionary, perishables, fruit and vegetables, groceries, toiletries and much more. The friendly, efficient salesman will deliver goods direct to your door from a vast storeroom selection and is in our area 2-3 days each week.
