Wickhambrook Horticultural Society

Monday 27th March
The next Horticultural Society meeting will be on Monday 27th of March at the usual time of 7.30pm in the W.I. Hall.  Talk by Nigel Start of Great Wilbraham on 'Keeping Chickens on a Small Scale'.  We look forward to seeing you, visitors are most welcome, entry is £2 and includes refreshments.

Wickhambrook Spring Litter Pick - 2nd April

Can you spare an hour or so to improve the look of your village? Wickhambrook Parish Council is backing a campaign to get half a million people out and about cleaning up their local communities in March and April 2017. To support the country's biggest ever community clear up, the Parish Council is seeking volunteers to take part in an organised litter pick.

Meet at Wickhambrook MSC car park at 11.30 a.m. Hazard jackets, rubbish sacks and grab sticks provided.

W.I. Wickhambrook

The next W.I. meeting is 'Addenbrooke’s Hospital History' with Hilary Ritchie. 7.30pm in the W.I. Hall, everyone welcome. Our meetings are held at 7.30pm in the WI Hall and all ladies from the village and district will be made very welcome. Just turn up at the WI Hall if you would like to join in. Information is always available from Hilary (01440 821713) or Veronica (01440 820791) for all our activities.

Falls Prevention Exercise
Every Tuesday

Seated and standing strength and balance exercises to maintain and prolong independence. This new class aims to increase mobility, flexibility, muscle strength and improve balance, with the opportunity after for refreshment and a chance to socialise with other members of the class.  10.30am to 11.20am at Wickhambrook Pavillion.  Pay as you go, £4.00 a class.  See poster for more information
