Monday 27th February
The next Horticultural Society meeting will be on Monday 27th of February at the usual time of 7.30pm in the W.I. Hall. Talk by Richard Ayres MBE of Lode (Head Gardener - Anglesey Abbey - retired) on 'Snowdrops & Winter Interest Plants'. We look forward to seeing you, visitors are most welcome, entry is £2 and includes refreshments.
The service is at 2pm in St Peter and St Paul's Church, Clare.
Clare has two bible studies leading up to the service, on 7th Feb and 21st February at 10.15am in the URC Church Rooms. Our members are invited to join in.
Wickhambrook Parish Council is backing a campaign to get half a million people out and about cleaning up their local communities in March 2017. As part of its support for the country's biggest-ever community clear up Wickhambrook Parish Council is seeking volunteers to take part in an organised litter-pick at MSC Hall pavilion. 'The Great British Spring Clean is about everyone working together to clean up the litter that blights our landscape and communities ad we’re delighted to be taking part and bringing people together to tackle an issue that many people care passionately about.'

Our meetings are held at 7.30pm in the WI Hall and all ladies from the village and district will be made very welcome. Just turn up at the WI Hall if you would like to join in. Seated and standing strength and balance exercises to maintain and prolong independence.
