This is a relaxed informal
class introducing students to drawing and painting a variety
of subjects in a variety of media. It is intended for all abilities
and aims to help students who have never painted get started
or to progress the skills of those who have. Students will have
the opportunity of trying various subjects - last year in similar
classes topics such as : still life, figure drawing, portraiture,
flower painting and outdoor sketching were tackled successfully.
Also every student will be given the opportunity to use watercolours,
inks pastels, acrylics, oil pastels and pencils as they wish,
in attempt to discover the medium that suits them best.
If you already have any materials please feel free to bring
them along to the first class, however do NOT feel the need
to buy lots of materials as the tutor will have basic items
for you to use and your tutor will discuss 'best buys' with
you at the first class. |
