Carnival and Flower Show - Saturday 9th July
The judging of the floats is at 1.00pm and the procession will leave the Recreation Ground at 1.30pm and then return after a short ride around the village. There are many attractions to see on the day, 5-A-Side Football, Car Driving, Gun Dog Display, Dancing Display, Magic Man, Children's Fairground Rides, Bouncy Castle, Nurse Williams Cup Race, Car Boot, Raffle to name but a few.
There will also be a Licensed Bar and Bar-B-Que

HORTICULTURAL SOCIETY

The timetable of events leading up to the show is as follows
Saturday 26th June
Last day for entries for the Best Cottage Garden (Giffords Cup),
and the Best Kept Flower Garden (William & Nancy King Cup).

Monday 28th June
Judging of the Gardens by our President, Lady Rowland

Wednesday 7th July
Registering of entries for the Summer Show at the WI Hall between 6.30pm and 8.30pm.

Friday 9th July
A working party meets at 3.00pm to set up the tables etc in the main MSC Hall
Everyone is welcome!

Saturday 10th July
The Summer Show
Volunteers meet at 8.00 am to receive entries
The judging commences at 10.00am.
The public is admitted from 2.00pm


WOMEN'S INSTITUTE

Visit us for afternoon tea and homemade cakes and biscuits - 2-4pm
