The
World's Biggest Coffee Morning 2007  Thank you, we created a stir!!!
A BIG THANK YOU to everyone who attended and so generously supported my Coffee Morning recently. The event was part of Macmillan Cancer Relief’s World’s Biggest Coffee Morning and was a wonderful morning, with 79 people signing in. Once all the chocolate orders are in at the end of November, we will have a final total. The final total for 2007 is £625 raised for Macmillan. All the money raised is used in the local area to help sufferers and their families benefit from the expertise of a Macmillan Nurse and all the counselling services that they can provide. My grateful thanks to my helpers on the day without whom the morning would not run so smoothly, Karen Horne, Jean Coe and underwater ceramic technician (washer upper) Steve Coe and Liz Holehouse along with my husband Dave and Belinda from Chocoholics.
With sincere thanks for all the donations of money and donated raffle prizes and to the W.I. for the use of their hall for the morning.
