Plants in the History of Art and Design’ was
the title of Patricia Shepherd’s talk at the February meeting.
She chose the lily, the rose and the tulip and and showed how they
had been represented in painting, textiles and sculpture through
the centuries.
The next meeting is on Tuesday 21st March at 7.30 in the WI Hall
when Sarah Frizewell will talk on St Edmundsbury Cathedral and
