| Following up from the very successful visit to Kentwell
Hall, our next visit is to the Churches of Wordwell and Icklingham
on Wednesday 14th July. This will be an evening visit and our guide
will be Clive Paine. The cost will be £3.00 per head. Please
book a place with Gillian (01440 820052).
We plan to meet in the Wickhambrook MSC Car Park at 5.45pm and
then travel to Wordwell in the minimum number of cars.
Clive Paine will be waiting for us at Wordwell Church where he
will give us a guided tour and also talk about the Black Death.
We will then go on to the church at Icklingham (parking in the car
park of ‘The Plough’ – by kind permission of the
landlord).
Clive says that he is looking forward to meeting us…. and
he also said that it would be a good idea to bring a torch!
