The Horticultural Society holds many events throughout the year
including the Wickhambrook Flower Show
The Wickhambrook Horticultural Society was formed in 1889 and is one of the oldest Societies in Wickhambrook. If you are interested you can read a short history of our society.

It is a thriving and vibrant Society. It holds regular monthly meetings with interesting speakers covering a wide spectrum of garden related subjects.

During the summer months, it organises evening visits to local notable gardens, and has an Annual coach visit to more distant locations.

It holds an Annual Summer Show, which is held on the second Saturday of July each year. The show includes classes for cookery, flower arranging and handicrafts as well as the usual horticultural classes. So there is something for everyone – including children. Over its long history twenty five fine Cups and Trophies have been presented to the Society to be used as awards for the winners of the various classes at the Show. See the Giffords Cup and read the engraving on it.

One of the benefits of membership is 10% off everything at Marlows Garden Centre on Thursdays. Our Secretary will give you details.
