The monthly meeting in October was a talk given by Veronica Bennett on Gardens and the National Trust - their history and evolvement. This was much enjoyed by the audience and the slides just made you want to get up and go and visit these wonderful gardens. The speaker was warmly thanked by Stan Bates.

We have two meetings in November - the monthly one on Monday, 12th November on Photography - Is it art or is it luck? which will be given by Andy Hanson and then on the Friday of that week (16th November), the Society has its Annual General Meeting with cheese and wine after the business, which is usually over very quickly.

Both evenings begin at 7.30 p.m. and will be held in the W.I. Hall.
