The United Reformed
Church |
| The Mothers and Toddlers Group in Wickhambrook
is a very friendly, relaxed place where mums can come to chat while
the children play amongst themselves and also join in with the children's
games. The group welcomes mum's with children aged from new born babies
upwards. If you want to find out about the group you can come along
to the first session for free and if you would like to come again
the charge is £1.50 per session. You will be made very welcome. |
| The United
Reformed Church has a large room which is used by the
children and where all of their toys are stored. The proceeds from
the sessions are used to buy more toys together with tea, coffee and
juice for the group. |

| Christmas |
| We always have a Christmas Tree. Last year we went
to Audley End on the train to see Father Christmas and the year before
we had a Christmas party at Banham Zoo with Santa. |
| Occasional Trips |
| We sometimes take the children out to various places
for trips throughout the year |
|
| The children have a large room to play
in with lots of toys, many of which are learning toys. The mums can
sit in the room with the children while they have tea or coffee and
biscuits. The group is very informal with a friendly atmosphere. The
children also have an outside play area which has a playhouse and
ride on toys. There are currently about 12 to 15 children attending
from the local and surrounding villages. We all take part in what
goes on and there is no committee. The group also runs all year round
and during school holidays, older children come along as well. |
