The Scene is the Wickhambrook village magazine run by the Memorial Social Centre (MSC) Supporters Group. Its main aim is to raise funds to assist with the running and upkeep of the MSC.

The Scene keeps people in touch with village life by reporting on what the various clubs, societies and many other groups involved with Wickhambrook are doing. The Scene aims to let you have the details in an informed, impartial and generally light-hearted fashion, although at times items of important news are also included and these are of necessity produced in a factual manner.

The Scene is always grateful for new articles, whether they be short, long, funny or just informative - please join in and make The Scene an even bigger community report than it is at present. The Scene has a long history and a most interesting article about the many previous issues was written by Jim Fieldsend and included in the extremely impressive A4 magazine The Millennium Scene. Unfortunately there are no longer any back issues available but you can once again enjoy this article here on the website.

The Scene is also run in conjunction with Wickhambrook What's-On which is the village newsletter and the two are run on alternate months. What's-On is delivered to every household within the village, free of charge. The What's-On aims to report forthcoming events by way of announcements rather than providing specific detail.
