A Cautionary Tale
Flu Blues

Where do they come from? The germs in the air
They enter my chest, and settle down there
They cause me to cough and then start to wheeze
Oh dear! I think I'm going to sneeze
I've now got the shivers, do you think it's the flu?
I certainly feel weary and decidedly blue
The doctor advises us to stay in bed
Keep ourselves warm and very well fed
All the parties I'm missing, I feel very sad
All this because I missed my flue jab!
