GP Registrars
There is usually a doctor, fully qualified with hospital experience
working here to learn more about general practice. GP Assistant
We usually have a fully qualified GP Assistant working here for one
or two surgeries per week. Medical Students
We sometimes have a clinical medical student sitting in with the doctor.
The receptionist will tell you if this is so, and if you do not want
the student to attend your consultation, please tell her.
VIDEO RECORDING
Occasionally some consultations are video recorded for teaching purposes.
This will only be done with the prior consent of the patient.
Practice Manager - Libby Hoffmann
The receptionists are your first point of contact with the practice
and will help you make the best use of our services.
PRACTICE NURSES - Linda Cawston RGN
and Sally Welsh RGN(by appointment) Monday - Friday 9.00am - 11.30am 3.00pm
- 5.30pm
They do cervical smears, immunisations, dressings, blood pressure
checks, HRT checks, pill checks, treat minor injuries, remove stitches
and give advice on foreign travel. They also assist the doctors in
providing asthma, heart disease and diabetic care.
Phlebotomist - Janet Webb (by
appointment)
Blood test sessions are held on Monday, Thursday and Friday mornings.
All specimens for delivery to the hospital,
must be at the surgery by 1.00pm
