On a beautiful, late April, spring evening in celebration of our 80th year as a thriving Institute, Wickhambrook Women’s Institute members attended an evening at Bedford Lodge Hotel, Newmarket for dinner in the “Classic Suite”.
Travelling from Wickhambrook in very comfortable mini coaches, the evening was recorded for posterity by keen, local amateur photographer Mike Pettitt on arrival at the hotel. A delicious meal was served and much enjoyed by all. Both the wine and the conversation flowed and everyone hoped it would not be another 80 years before we had such an excellent evening out together.
